Connect one of the radios to your computer using the micro USB cable. Power the radio attached to the vehicle by plugging in the vehicle’s battery. Open the Mission Planner and go to the Initial Setup | Optional Hardware | SiK Radio page. Select the correct COM port and set the baud rate to 57600. Ensure the “Connect” button is in a

Hello guys, I am running into trouble with trying to use Mission Planner (over the hotspot link) and the Herelink together with a drone with remote ID built-in. I can get the drone to arm with the Herelink only, since I can set the remote ID parameters properly and the Herelink has the GPS location built-in. But when I connect Mission Planner, it must be sending messages to the drone with I’ll report this to the devs, hopefully they can confirm. visser (visser) October 19, 2014, 5:46pm 3. Started having this issue today, updated to AC3.2-RC12. Bad Compass Health notice on HUD. I’m using a APM 1.6 clone board with the internal compass trace cut and a NEO-6M GPS/compass, had calibrated compass without issue on AC3.1.5. The HUD should report “No GPS”. That’s good – it means it can’t detect a GPS module. Now disconnect and remove the power from your board/remove the USB cable. Connect the USB cable and connect via the Mission Planner again. Once it connects, it should report “No Fix” (if you’re indoors or don’t have a fix yet) or “3D Fix
Safe Indoor Flying Don’ts. Don’t fly in small confined spaces. Use common sense, flying inside a warehouse with a high roof = OK, bedroom = not OK. Don’t use Auto* modes. * Auto Modes are ones that requires GPS i.e. Loiter, Position Hold, Guided, Auto. ** Non-auto modes are Stabilize and Altitude Hold.
First thing is to check the GPS module is connected correctly. Do you see any led on it flashing? If not then maybe it is not connected properly. Otherwise I suggest you try another GPS module as maybe your one is faulty cLr4.
